Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ClassFund, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use the platform on behalf of a school, PTO, classroom, or other organization, you represent that you have the authority to act on that organization’s behalf.

If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the platform.

The Service

ClassFund provides tools for schools and related communities to create fundraising pages, collect donations, publish updates, and manage fundraising activity. We may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

We aim to keep the platform available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature will always operate without error.

Accounts and Access

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are also responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

We may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account is being used in a way that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, insecure, or inconsistent with these terms.

Fundraising Content and Conduct

You are responsible for the content you publish through ClassFund, including school profiles, campaign pages, updates, messages, images, and fundraising claims. You agree not to post content that is deceptive, infringing, unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise harmful.

You also agree not to misuse the platform, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape data improperly, or use the service in ways that create security, fraud, or compliance risks.

Donations and School Responsibility

ClassFund provides fundraising infrastructure, but schools, organizers, and campaign administrators remain responsible for how fundraising proceeds are represented, administered, and used. Donors should review campaign information carefully before contributing.

We are not responsible for how a school or fundraiser ultimately uses donated funds, except as required by law or as otherwise expressly stated by us.

Payments and Fees

Donation transactions are processed by third-party payment providers. By making or accepting donations through ClassFund, you also agree to any applicable payment processor terms that govern the transaction.

ClassFund may describe pricing, fees, or platform policies on the site, and those details may change over time. Any processing fees or related charges disclosed during checkout or account setup remain your responsibility as applicable.

Communications

By using ClassFund, you agree that we may send you service-related communications such as receipts, account notices, security alerts, fundraising updates, and support responses. Some of these communications are transactional and necessary for the service to function.

Marketing or campaign-related emails may include additional preference controls where supported.

Intellectual Property

ClassFund and its related branding, software, design, and platform materials are owned by ClassFund or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you ownership of the platform or any associated intellectual property.

You retain rights to content you submit, but you grant us a non-exclusive right to host, process, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate and improve the service.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

ClassFund is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClassFund and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the platform.

Termination

You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe doing so is necessary to protect the platform, users, schools, donors, or legal compliance.

Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply after access ends.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. When changes are made, we may update the effective date and provide notice in the product or by other reasonable means when appropriate.

Your continued use of ClassFund after updated terms become effective means you accept the revised terms.
